Dr. Jessica Lee received her MD and MS in Clinical Science from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, completed her Internal Medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and finished a two-year Geriatric Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore.  She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.  She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Joan and Stanford Alexander Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine at UTHealth and the Medical Director of the Harris Health LBJ House Call Service which provides primary and palliative care to homebound adults. Her research interests are in clinical interventions to increase resiliency in older adults to help them maintain their functional independence at home.  She was recently awarded a K23 Career Development Award from the National Institute on Aging and has been the PI or Co-I on several studies evaluating frailty, social determinants of health, and COVID-19 in older adults.
