I am a clinician-scientist and health services researcher whose research applies an interdisciplinary lens to measuring and improving musculoskeletal care processes and outcomes at the intersection of orthopaedic surgery, rehabilitation, psychology, and health policy. I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Institute for Health Care Delivery Science within the Department of Population Health Science & Policy and in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. I am particularly interested in promoting perioperative care improvement and quality of life for older adults at risk of health disparities given social determinants of health. My methodological interests span a broad spectrum of clinical research, including observational designs, patient-centered outcomes research, mixed methods approaches, and implementation science. Specifically, I look forward to advancing clinical applications of patient-reported outcome measures to support high-quality, person-centered, and equitable care.
