Dr. Timothy Anderson is a clinician-investigator in the Division of General Medicine at BIDMC, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Lead for Improving Value in Healthcare at the BIDMC Center for Healthcare Delivery Science. Dr. Anderson's primary research interests are identifying strategies to improve the quality of care delivered to older adults with chronic conditions and to reduce the delivery of low-value prescribing and diagnostic testing. His research utilizes advanced observational research methods to improve our understanding of the outcomes of healthcare delivered to patients in the hospital, in the clinic, and during transitions of care.
